• This training video helps employees understand their role in HIPAA compliance. What are the things they are allowed to do under HIPAA? What are those things that are NOT allowed to do with HIPAA? This video helps teach the concept of "Protected Health Information" or PHI that is covered by the HIPAA Act. HIPAA stands for the "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act" of 1996. The purpose of this measure was to protect the health information and medical privacy of American's private medical information.
